CARERS of WEST LOTHIAN
Providing Support, Information and a A Voice for Carers in West Lothian

Carers Courses - Autumn '05

In addition to a First Aid Course, Carers of West Lothian is arranging several 'taster session' courses. It is hoped the type of courses we are organising, can be transferred to hobbies carers can continue with at home.

Those interested in attending any of the following courses, or who would like further information, should contact Kirsty Archibald, Carer Support Worker, 01506 771750.

An Introduction to Digital Photography - Commencing October 2005. This is a 6 week half day course. You don't even need to own a digital camera as these are provided. If you already own a digital camera, the tutor will be only happy to ensure that you know how to use it properly to make sure your pictures are of the David Bailey variety!

Glass Painting - Glass painting is easier than you may think; you don't even need a steady hand as you can use ready-made outlines. Decorate jars, vases, light bulbs, even windows! Or make your own unique gift cards. Come along to our taster session and find out more.

An Introduction to the Internet - Always wondered what all the fuss was about? We are arranging a half-day course to introduce you to the Internet, no computer knowledge required!

Genealogy - Have you ever wanted to find out more about your Family Tree? If enough carers are interested we will run a course that shows you how to go about researching your family history.
