TRAINING COURSESWho Cares? Training Course for CarersCarers of West Lothian will run a “new look” Who Cares? Training Course for Carers. The course, which is free to any carer from West Lothian, will provide an introduction to caring, training, information and an opportunity to explore issues regarding particular caring situations. The course consists of seven sessions covering subjects that include carer’s rights, advocacy, health and social services, benefits, medication, looking after yourself and relaxation. Carers of West Lothian will refund travel costs. They also have a small budget available to meet sitter costs so that carers can attend.
